i feel a little psychic.
i think if i put my mind to it i might be able to develop it more.
if it is something you can actually improve on i don't know.
maybe you are just born with a certain degree and you have it or not...what do you think?...

I think everyone has an innate ability. Some have a stronger ability than others, but it is still something that can be developed. It's just like someone who is a natural athlete. Others can still practice and get much better.

It can definitely pick and choose though. I have a lot of psychic ability just outright, but gods forbid I try to use a tarot deck and I just can't connect to it.

As with everyone else, I agree, everyone has the ability and you CAN hone it. But it manifests differently in each person. I'm good at picking up different energies and I'm pretty good at divination both with and without instruments, mine doesn't specialize really as much as it spreads out over several abilities evenly. I love that I can work in multiple fields comfortably, but because it's spread out it means I have to focus more energy to tap into them then I would if I was good at only a few. So everything has their ups and downs,but overall, if you find your field of expertise, work and experiment with it, it'll get more precise and more powerful over time.
